From 10-14 August 2026, we are taking over some of the Ibiza’s amazing venues - but the heart of this festival is a moment of pure, cosmic magic.

Wednesday, August 12 | The Total Solar Eclipse Boat Party in San Antonio waters 18.00-21.00 CET
On August 12, 2026, the universe puts on a show, and we’ve got the front-row seats. Ibiza is one of the few places on Earth positioned for a Total Solar Eclipse.
Just 30 minutes before the sun dips below the horizon, the Mediterranean sky will plunge into total darkness. Imagine being on the open water, surrounded by your community, watching the moon erase the sun while House Music legend Dario Nunez provides the soundtrack to the shadows. As the light returns and the stars fade back into the dusk, you won’t just be at a party - you’ll be part of a core memory that will be talked about for decades!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Departure Port & Meeting Point
Departure Point: The official Float Your Boat Kiosk (also known as the Captain Nemo booth), located at Passeig de la Mar in the port of San Antonio. It is situated right next to the fountains and the main Egg roundabout.
Meeting Point & Check-in: Boat check-in will be held at The Irish Beach Bar (Avinguda del Doctor Fleming, 12, 07820 Sant Antoni de Portmany) from 14:30 till 17:30.
Type of the Boat
Large, custom-built double-decker motorised catamaran / party cruiser. It features an expansive, open-air top deck perfect for 360-degree viewing, a high-end sound system, fully stocked bars, and onboard restrooms.
Route & Open Water
The boat will actively leave San Antonio Bay and head out into the open Mediterranean waters along Ibiza's scenic west coast to ensure we are completely clear of any land-based crowd congestion or obstructions.
Exact Planned Viewing Area During Totality
The captain will position the vessel in the open sea off the west/south-west coast of Ibiza, targeting the waters near iconic vantage points like Cala Conta or the surrounding open horizons. The precise coordinates are chosen dynamically on the day to maximize clarity and avoid heavy maritime traffic.
Unobstructed Western Horizon (20:32–20:33)
The sun will be exceptionally low (only about 2°–3° above the horizon) during totality at 20:32, land-viewing spots can easily be blocked by cliffs, buildings, or hills. Being out on the open sea means your western horizon will be completely flat, flawless, and entirely unobstructed as the sun eclipses right above the waterline.
Certified Solar Eclipse Glasses
Every guest will receive a free pair of ISO-certified solar eclipse glasses, so you can safely view the partial phases leading up to and following totality.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
If the boat party is officially cancelled by the operator due to dangerous maritime conditions, coast guard restrictions, or technical faults, a partial refund will be issued. Please note: The cruise will still sail if it is simply overcast/cloudy (as astronomical visibility cannot be guaranteed).
